EOIP seems unstable on v6.0. If an interface goes down it does not seem to reconnect. Anyone else seeing this?
EOIP has been unstable since it was released.
Realy? No problems with 5.24.

For example, EoIP has got very bad performance when is used with Ubnt radio links. Better solution is to use VLAN or VPN…
Do you use keepalive-timeout option? If yes, you have same bug as i did - write tu support and they will give you 6.1rc1 to try out - worked for me.

which build version did you get (System → Resources → Build time)?
download site is updated, it is only a matter when you download packages. SO, if you have the link, redownload the packages.
So what do you mean? Down grade from v6.0 to v6RC and then upgrade back up to v6.0? We are running EOIP on mipsbe hardware.
EOIP is stable for us in v6. But not on CCR, there is random disconnects. After switching to ipip, problem solved. 
EoIP on v6 on x86 is unstable for us. We have switched to L2TP for now, but would prefer to go back to EoIP.
I’m using 6.1 Build Time Jun/10/2013 14:21:14 on x86 and keepalive is empty quite stable . i think the problem is keepalive
6.1 has been released. Has this been resolved now? I see keep alive set to 10 seconds if that matters.
