What is normal? One of my routers which is basically idle has been sitting at 4 to 6% average usage for a while… 4 to 5% of that seems to be “unclassified”. Anyone seen that? What is it?
As a note, “unclassified” has the highest cpu usage of all of the processes other than idle.
I also noticed this behavior. It drops a bit when i turn off the LCD. I think unclassified are all processes on the device which are not belong to one of other groups.
Can someone con Mikrotik confirm this? Will you add fill the gap and classify those processes in an coming release?
I haven’t tried turning off the LCD. Maybe I’ll give that a try. I am just curious what exactly it is why it is the highest cpu user on the system.
noticed the same thing. Going to upgrade to 6.2 tomorrow.

Been the same for me since 6.0 to 6.3. I heard it is mostly from the LCD as well, but I’ve never disabled it to check.
Just tested disabling the LCD on a RB2011UAS-RM running RouterOS v6.3 … the CPU usage dropped by about 4% and thus unclassified went to 0!
