I just put v7.1b4 on a wAP R ac with LTE6 modem. I winbox I see a message in red “A newer version of modem firmware is available”. Current modem fw version is R11e-LTE6_V026. I ran the cli command /int lte firmware-upgrade lte1 and it shows the old and new version are the same V026. I ran upgrade=yes anyway, and it seemed to go through the motions of downloading a fw and flashing the modem, which then resets. After, I see the same V026 version on it, and still the message about new version available.
Show that message about you write. Maybe you see a info about differ brick of RouterOS…

I can confirm that latest is R11e-LTE6_V026.
MikroTik team have got a 027 as release candidate but it’s not shared official.
its more about a bug in v7.1b4 than an issue with LTE version I think
