I am running a RBSXTsqG-5acD with firmware 7.4 running on the device. With the CPU set to 716mhz, it now complains that the CPU is not running at the default frequency.
This seems like a bug since 716mhz is the default speed via the mikrotik spec sheet for this device: https://mikrotik.com/product/sxtsq_5_ac

It likely wants you to set it to “auto” so it can throttle down when idle, saving power.
It is more or less mandatory for ROS7, hence the warning.
You can select not to set it to but then you will need to live with the warning.

thank you. i suggest mikrotik change the error message for when you force the cpu freq to the correct device value… its misleading
It’s not an error.
It’s a WARNING.
So no problem.
