Looks like files uploaded over WebFig get cut at 2050 chunks, e.g. a 3K file gets cut at 2050, a 5K at 4100.
Fails for me on a hAP mini and RB2011iL, Firefox and Chromium. FTP works fine.
Is it me or it’s a bug?
I also have issues uploading files to Mikrotik 7.8. I tried uploading the below file to my CRS309 and CRS305 from different browsers and a different machine, using different names/extensions, the upload process hangs on the browser, and an empty file is created. The much larger binary files can be uploaded without issues…
#!ipxe
echo This is MAC file for ${mac:hex}
prompt --timeout 10000
Could be a bug… Does the file have any unicode? What content-type and content-length is the browser using for the upload (browser’s insect window should show under some “network” tab depending on your browser)?
If repo-able with some file, you might want to report it at help.mikrotik.com (and include the file you’re testing and a supout.rif from the router with it). Especially since you’re already running 7.8.
