V7 modules missing, BGP and mpls missing, ipv6 always enabled.

Gave beta 5 a test - install is monolithic - packages are gone. :frowning:
Not possible to disable stuf fon routers that don’t need those and conserve memory for useful things :frowning: - e.g. wireless, ppp, ipv6, advanced tools to free up ram to run iBPG and/or MPLS
Why is RIP still there? BGP is gone on those small memory (32mb) routers, MPLS is also missing. :frowning:

Also a feature request - combine ipv4 and ipv6 firewalls and perhaps combine the ip and ipv6 settings. Instead of living in different trees in cli and different menus in winbox combine them under one and where applicable add an option to specify which is which - if not specified apply to both.

yes…
v6… hap lite… free memory 8MB
upgrade to v7
v7… hap lite… free memory 6.5MB

As you can know V7 is in Beta testing and modules comes on each beta publish! There is no BGP yet and there are lot of other stuff missing!
I don’t see nothing strange here!
https://mikrotik.com/download/changelogs/development-release-tree
See all change logs on 7.0 beta 3 and there is confirmed that MPLS and BGP are disabled and there is no any other beta 4 or 5 than is announced that they are enabled! Before take responsibility to test a development version you should read all information!

Re modules - nonsense! I am speaking of how the OS appears in system packages. In 6 even if you deploy the single combined .npk after installation you see the OS and separate modules(packages)
When you install 7, there are no modules/packages listed except one monolithic one.

Also from the page you are quoting:

What’s new in 7.0beta4 (2019-Dec-06 13:21):

!) included all features and fixes from 6.46 version;

The features I am talking about are available in 6.46. 7 beta 4 according to this message is supposed to have all of them, with beta 5 building upon it! Either the change log is wrong or the people who wrote it don’t know how to properly write what they mean in English.

I see you are new around here

That’s the way I read it. Linglish is hard to follow:)
