Distance settings are screwed when using ros5.17 with VAP’s.
Ping times to customers are all over the place (those connected to the VAP)
Yesterday, VAP interfaces said my client was 9km (client at maximum distance), but the parent Wlan said the distance was 31km.
Today it says the distance is 41km.
Then I just checked another setting in the AP, returned to the same page and incredibly it changed itself as I was watching from 41km to 9km.
Then the ping times returned to their normal 2-4 ms.
Bad ping times were 300-600ms
Firmware is 2.39
anyone seeing the same problems.
