I have an EC25-V in an LHG talking with Verizon (via Visible). Data works just fine… and no apparent throttling.
Tried to activate the SMS (/tools sms) but doesn’t seem to work.. Even seemed to knock out the data link… which came back after disabling SMS and rebooting.
I use the SMS on and LTE4 card with T-Mobile and it all works just great.
You can try looking in the logs for the message center number (e.g. look like +14155551212) , and using that in the /tool/sms settings. e.g. some message like:
lte1 mbim: sms service center +1312xxxxxxx
But could be a side-effect that the IMEI of the device doesn’t match the one activate, since typically Verizon/Visble won’t activate a Mikroitk devices using the “real” IMEI of the device – e.g. Mikrotik LTE routers are not certified for Verizon’s network, so typically you can’t even activate them.
Also make sure you try 7.8 if you’re on a previous version. They do fix bugs, so almost always best with the latest.
