Hi.
First, how can I determine what version of RouterOS and RouterBOOT I’m currently using? In System → Routerboard, it says “Firmware Version 3.04”.
Second, is there any hope that UPnP support for the Xbox 360 will be fixed? I can find numerous posts from many years ago noting that it doesn’t work, and I can confirm that it still does not.

Okay, got the version part figured out (the telnet is cool with the syntax highliting and such)
Now to test the Xbox 360 again and see if it adds the dynamic rules properly. (And I can see rules from other devices that were added successfully)
Woooooot! It added the dynamic entry this time (or at least one of them, it seems to be enough to make it happy (and it makes sense, it’s the UDP port)).

Okay, now I can’t get it to add the auto dynamic entry for port 3074 for XBL after factory resetting it.
Also, I can’t stream to my MyGica A11 (XBMC, regular HTTP stream)… 
Hi all, hate to be that guy, but… sadly the RB is getting put out of commission after only a few short weeks of usage. I can’t seem to get it to do some very simple things. One of which I’ll admit is due to my lack of knowledge on the configuration side. The other bits, I’m confident I’ve configured correctly. (I went to so much trouble as to reset to factory settings when trying to get these different things to work…)
- UPnP mapping does not work with the Xbox 360. I swear at one point I’d added it and then removed it and it had showed up as a dynamic entry later, but I can’t reproduce that good case in any situation now. (Side note, the “Quick Set” and IP>UPnP settings get out of sync. I presume the later is authoritative, but the Quick Set screen showed it was off when I had it on.
- I can’t get DST NAT routing for port 80. I think this is my own fault, even though I have other ports forwarding correctly (see: the Xbox 360 UDP3074).
- This is the kicker: I literally can’t stream anything from my server (LAN2) to my MyGica A11 (LAN3) [running clean cut linux + xbmc). This fails to work over HTTP, UPnP AV/DLNA/whatever-they’re-calling-it-today (HTTP), SMB, etc.

The worst part is: I really, really want to like my RouterBoard router. Unfortunately, when the Netgear WNDR4000 is in the same price (range) and covers these fairly basic use cases better, I’ve got to go with it. Even though I’m guessing the NAT routing in the RouterBoard is faster than the Netgear can handle, but who knows…
