In setting up a hotspot aimed at laptop users, is it best to use an H-pol or V-pol antenna? What kind of antenna do most laptops have built in?
I supose vertically polarized, although polarization doesn’t matter so much if the AP is close and signal is strong.
The antenna polarization is not a critical parameter for laptop applications, since laptops are used primarily in indoor environments where there is high scattering of signals.
