I have an omniTIK 5 ac and two SXT Lite5 and I’m going to set up the PTMP scenario.
Omnitik is installed in HQ and SXTs in branches.
Distances between the HQ office and branches are 70 and 170 meters. I could install one link so far which has awful CCQ and Tx/RX strength.
you can see the status as attached, current throughput is very low!!!
would you please help me to increase the performance?
Hello,
Try enabling 5Ghz-a/n band in wireless settings if you are using SXT Lite5 on the other side. If the issue with low throughput still remains, I recommend generating supout.rif files on the AP and on one or both station devices and send them to support@mikrotik.com https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Support_Output_File
Bad signal. Increase signal is the only answer.
Do this by removing obstacles, interference (change channel?), raise one or both end of the links higher, and possibly dump the omni in the middle and use something at least partly directional.
In particular bad signal on Ch0 … either Ch0 antenna is (semi-)defunct or there’s some obstacle in the Fresnel zone which has polarizing properties and affect one polarity much more than the other.
there is not any obstacles between radios.
I do not know how can I prevent interference would you please help me ?
I raised both ends but CCQ is still very low
throughput is around 400 KB/s with SMB file sharing…
