For the experts: What is the difference between a network card/port in a Broadband Router and a PCI Network card? I have a trangobroadband Trango Fox 5800 antenna uplink that goes to my ISP and when I plug the ethernet cable into any broadband router it works fine, when I try to plug it directly into my network card it makes no connection, This poses a problem because I cant use it for my PC Router using RouterOS… what is the difference?
As was said in a referenced link earlier this month… GTFW! ![]()
And if you Google The F***** Web for “mdi mdi-x” you will find links like this one http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid7_gci786996,00.html
You need a crossover cable to connect two end-devices with each other, a straight cable (like the one you have) connects an end-device to an interconnect devie (like hub or switch)
