I am using a VU Telepresence video conferencing and for the last week the video conferences are only working in one direction, i.e. I can hear and see them, but they can’t hear or see me. During the weekend I used it the whole day, but once the work week starts it stops working.
At the moment I am trying to track down if it is a network related issue on the outside of our firewall/router. I can see 1Mbps of traffic going out and in of the WAN port which is equal to the reported traffic on the video conferencing unit. The video conferencing unit is however reporting near 100% packet loss and 300ms jitter.
In the Dubai office where they can’t see us I am using a RB1100AH with the V6.6 software. However in the Singapore office with a RB1200 using the same V6.6 software they have no problem connecting to the Malaysia office.
Is it possible to tell if the packets are being rejected/delayed en route by the ISP?
