I read on the manual that it is possible to create a maximum of 128 VAP on a Atheros Wireless interface. Have someone experience about the performance with 5 VAP?
Note, that VAP interfaces are operating on the same frequency, the performance will be the same as with one AP.
I have to add some information to my previous post.
Actually, VAP is not recommended, if you don’t really need it.
Many VAP interfaces will decrease performance of your wireless link (as there are physical access points around).
I will try to create 3 VLAN instead of VAP.
I want to use one for administrator of the client ap and the second for client.
the third for hacker attack. I think that I need to try.
Today arived the routerboard to make the trials.
this weekend … I will work very hard.
Have you some tutorial in case of separate the WALN or some suggestion?
