Virtual AP Problem

Dear Sir/Madam

I’ve got a problem with Virtual AP feature on RB433AH ( it has one 5Ghz Card ) , I created 5 Virtual APs & many SXT CPE clients connected to them.
When I change any option in one of Virtual AP or add or remove a Virtual AP , all customers disconnect from the AP ( RB433AH ).

Could you help me to resolve this problem ?

Do all CPE’s reconnect after a few seconds?

Yes Exactly.

That’s normal, unfortunately. Each change of wireless interface will disconnect the CPE’s.

Hi

So Its very bad , because I’ve got an ISP & many clients connect to our AP device.
they used internet on wireless link & when I change any options in on Virtual AP , all customers disconnect from the AP.

Is there any way to resolve this problem ?
Is there another solotion?

any changes in settings that applied in wireless settings may cause a temperory disconnection ..that is normal

maybe you could explain in more detail why you require frequent configuration changes on the interface. Usual use case - configure interface once and use it afterwards.

Hi

Imagine we want to limit TX , RX for one customer in access list page or add a new Virtual AP or delete one of them.
If any change in one Virtual AP , All customers disconnect from the AP.

So its very bad because I change a little configuration in one Virtual AP but all customers disconnect from our AP.

Use queues instead of limits on access list page.
