Virtual AP & VLAN questions

Hi,

I currently have a RB2011UiAS-2HnD and RB951-2n connection to each other over WDS. So far it is working very well.

What I would like to do now, is to create virtual AP’s on each device and using vlans, allow guests to connect to the virtual AP ssid on a different range.

Main network - 192.168.88.0/24 (main-ssid)
Guest network - 172.16.0.0/24 (guest-ssid)

I have managed to configure the virtual AP and vlan on the RB951-2n, including dhcp to assign IP addresses in 172.16.0.0/24. I connect to the guest-ssid, I get assigned an IP and I can connect to the internet (pppoe on ether1-gateway)

I would now like to do the same on the RB951-2n, so I can connect to the guest-ssid on it, get an 172.16.0.0/24 ip address and connect out to the internet over WDS out ppoe.

I attempted to duplicate the config on the RB951-2n, but it is not working.

Any suggestions or pointer on how to continue with this setup?

I hope my explanation of what I have and would like to do is clear.

Thanks
