Virtual MAC setup for load balancing and failover L2 links

Hi,

We have two CCR1036-12G-4S routers, both are connected by two 100 Mbps L2 point to point links, planning to add 3rd L2 point to point link of 100 Mbps. We want L2 links load balancing as well failover, CISCO use virtual MAC for such, is same available in Mikrotik, please guide me step by step how to implement if not available what would be best alternative, we do not want to do any routing only keep circuit as L2.

VRRP is for failover, not load balancing/sharing, and works for L3 traffic, not L2.

Bonding the L2 interfaces together with an appropriate mode and transmit-hash-policy may work depending on the nature of the traffic, see https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/Bonding
