I’m a basic beginner and had a question in regards to the installation of routerOS in a virtual enviroment (like Virtual PC).
I am able to install the OS just fine and also connect to it. However I wanted to ask what I would need as far as hardware (network cards).
My goal is to use RouterOS to limit broadband in some of my network’s PCs (cyber cafe). I have installed ROS in the main server where I also run the cyber cafe management application. This PC however has only one network card. How many other network cards would I need to add to this computer in order for ROS to do it’s routing work? How should I configure them?
Is there anything else I need to know in order to set this up? Is there a step-by-step for this?
