Virtualization for non-routing purpose?

Hi everyone.
Is it possible to virtualize a general-propose OS inside RouterOS? Such as running BOINC…

Yes. There are openwrt metarouter packages for example.

I have not seen it. But openwrt is quite versatile, more than just routing os.

maybe a better solution its to use a bigger machine, run virtualization on it and run mikrotik virtualized on it, and all another os you want.

what is really necessary is virtualization support for another mikrotik instances.

Actually, OpenWRT is a distribution, with its own package repository, management, etc.
