check what the mikrotik log file says, you will see the reason for disconnection

I had a challenge with Vista. Check the wireless icon by the clock. When I clicked on it to check my wireless stats when I could not log on, it pops a warning that you are about to connect to an unsecured network, and asks if you want to connect anyway. Once I answered the popup, it connected.
And just to make it very clear…this is not a Mikrotik challenge. Any wireless network without WEP or WPA will generate this “hidden popup”.
