vlan 100 on WAN port , NAT on Lan side , no internet on LAN side

Hello,
networking level from 1 to 10, i am in number 2

i have a RB952Ui-5ac2nD using it as HOME AP DUAL ( in quick set )

when i plug the RB952Ui and connect ETH1 ( WAN ) to the wall
i did not get any ip on the WAN interface
so i asked the IT guys on the office and he told me that they use VLAN 100 as default
im using winbox

so i added VLAN100 to eth1 under interfaces menu
then under IP/DHCP Client i changed interface from ETH1 to VLAN100
and i get the bound message with the ip’s from the local office network via dhcp

so,.. after doing that
there is no internet on the LAN side of the RB952 so i was puzzled
if i got an IP on the WAN side

so looking for answers i read that you need to change the masquerade settings
and the only way i make it to work is to
IP/Firewall/NAT
and change
OUT interface list from WAN to All,
then i need to reboot the router in order for me to have internet on the LAN side and ping 1.1.1.1

if i change the NAT to WAN again, i need to reboot the router in order for that settings to change
and vice versa, the change of the NAT setting only happen after a reboot

is that ok ?
and changing the setting from WAN to All in the interface list setting under IP/Firewall/NAT ?
Thanks

  1. Modify this
    /interface list member
    add comment=defconf interface=bridge list=LAN
    add comment=defconf interface=ether1 list=WAN

TO:
/interface list member
add comment=defconf interface=bridge list=LAN
add comment=defconf interface=ether1 list=WAN
add interface=vlan100 list=WAN

  1. Modify this to something that makes more sense.
    /ip firewall nat
    add action=masquerade chain=srcnat comment=“defconf: masquerade”
    ipsec-policy=out,none out-interface-list=all

TO:
/ip firewall nat
add action=masquerade chain=srcnat comment=“defconf: masquerade”
ipsec-policy=out,none out-interface-list=WAN

  1. If not using IPV6 then,
    /ipv6 settings
    set disable-ipv6=yes
    /ipv6 firewall filter
    add chain=input action=drop
    add chain=forward action=drop

ohh, so i only needed to add VLAN100 to the WAN list
corrrect ?
