VLAN Assistance Needed

hello,

i am trying to setup vlans on a CSS326-24G-2S+RM.
i am using a template from a RB260GS vlan system.
on the vlan tab for the RB260GS there is an egress part where i can set the vlan header to either add if missing, always strip or leave as is.

the CSS326 switchos 2.8 doesn’t have that egress part. also, the vlans tab doesn’t have some options.

how can i follow the example when my css326 with switchos 2.8 doesn’t quite look like the vlan gui on the rb260gs?

There are some configuration differences between RB260 and CSS326. You should take a look at CSS326 manual page for VLAN configuration and here are two examples on how to create a basic VLAN configuration.

In brief, use “Default VLAN ID” to strip specific VLAN header on egress port, while other VLANs that are allowed on a port (the port is added as a member for that VLAN ID) will be tagged on egress.
