VLAN + BGP -> 100% Lost :(

Good night,

This is my first post so please bare with me.. I have been 100% unable to make the following configuration work on my CCR 1036:

ISP ------ CCR 1036 ------ LAN

link subnet between ISP and CCR1036: 92.xxx.xxx.189/30

1.- ISP: traffic must be sent tagged with VLAN 1001 through SFP1 to 92.xxx.xxx.189; ISP AS number → 1234
2.- CCR 1036: traffic must be sent from/with IP 92.xxx.xxx.190

I have already added VLAN 1001 and bridged it with ETHER2 (LAN port) but no luck at all. Using wireshark I see lots of “network port unreachable” / “network unreachable” messages… Regarding BGP routing, I have tried to add a peer with AS number 1234 only (I do not have the AS number IP)…

Hope this message makes sense.

Thanks in advance!,
Francisco

Dont bridge.

Add the vlan to sfp port, and put your IP to the vlan. Then ping gateway at ISP (should work).

Put this IP as Your default gateway, and all should be ok.

I dont know about your BGP and why you want to use BGP, but in case you have a subnet and want to annonce it, you have to cofigure bgp with your AS, your setting, and your peer (ISP) IP, (md5) as number etc.
