VLAN CONFIGURATION ON MIKROTIK

Hello, this my post is something like question for mikrotik support, because i want to know his opinion about vlans

I am playing with mikrotik maybe last 1 and half year. Only in my own LAB enviroment, but i hate one thing. Vlans config is so unclear and so complicated on mikrotik for example in compare with cisco.
Why is not only like this example:
1step: Create VLAN - for example i need 4 vlans, so i only will create 4 vlans ike (VLAN10,20,30,40)…Only create vlan, not under interface, but in general
2. step: Setup TRUNKS…only choose interface which will be used as trunk and assign which vlans i want to use there on trunk(default all created VLANS)
3.step: SETUP ACCESS PORTS - choose port and choose vlan.
That is all.
I dont want to care about is there software of hardwere switching for vlans…If is there switch chip support on device, it should use switch chip, if not, use software switching.
Now is there possibility use software vlan, then bridge vlan and then some switch vlan…it is so confusing and so uncomfortable for configuring it, very hard to remember what you need to configure …(Vans are almost in every tab)
My advice is that Mikrotik will be brilliant if you will steps like this.

This is only my opinion and proposal be better. I really love mikrotik, but this simple vlan… it should be more clear and more general. It is not atom physics.
And my question is that if are you planning some changes in this configuration approach in the future and if you are think that actual configuration is clear and good

Thanks for your reply  and i apologize, this is maybe only my feelings, another users can be satisfied.

Concur its complicated but only because there are two valid implementations depending upon choice and hardware.

  1. hardware chip centric application

  2. vlan bridge centric application.
For this one, this most excellent reference is recommended and the MT wiki I think has improved over time…
    http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/using-routeros-to-vlan-your-network/126489/1

Now both take advantage of the bridge but one (1) is capable of hardware offloading…

Yes, i prefer vlan configuring in bridge mode but with hw acceleration.

I have learned this config from my Mikrotik lector, but otherwise still this config is not so comfortable  But advantage is that is possible on every Mikorotik device with new switch chip and for me is probably simplest.

This is the ref, someone suggested for using chip switch…
