Hey guys i wanted to ask about how to use vlan on as wan with a COS value set my isp ONU has a eth port that is supposed to go into the router’s wan port with vlan enabled
vlan 100 with COS 2 for PPPoE and Vlan 177 with COS 7 for VOIP via a static ipv4 or ipv6
i was able to create a VLan1 interface on ether 1 and assign it to wan interface list but i am stuck as i could not find any way to set the COS value to the vlan1 interface.
Wait, wouldnt it just be simpler to define two vlans, each with interface to ETHER1 ( assuming coming in on ether1
vlan100 ppoe interface=ether1
vlan177 other interface=ether1
for second vlan just set vlan priority right in IP DHCP client with interface being vlan177??
for first vlan............. OH THATS STEWPID, whey does not mikrotik have a VLAN priority setting in pppoe client............ I should enter in a suggestion.
Vlan Creation has no COS option and PPPoE client has no COS option
i have looked arround in docs it says priority is handled via firewall but i have no clue as to what kind of rule to create mangle or filter
what kind of chain to choose
also
vlan 177 will not get any ip form dhcp isp provides a IP for voip ie a static connection
if we talk in terms of isp provided router (im using ISP ONU in instead of ISP router) they select IPOE option and choose the RJ11 interface that is in the ISP router
for example they provide a SIP ip that starts from 10.10.xxx.xxx
you are supposed to use it with zoiper or a IP phone
