I have a Huawei switch s5700, from where all the microtiks are connected.
Microtik CCR1009 VLAN working smooth, where huawei port is access port for vlanX
and then vlanX is in a bridge with the physical port in the same BRIDGE and CCR1009 is pinging fine.
Exactly the same way, when we do for CCR1016 and CCR1036, it doesnt ping and doesnt work.
Is the vlan setup different for 1016 and 1036 ?
Here is what I did and failed :
- create new vlan50.
- Connect Huawei 0/2 port to 0/2 port of microtik.
- Huawei 0/2 made access vlan50
- microtik created bridge NETWORKA , and associated 0/2 port and vlan50 both that same bridge.
- Went to addresses and created the WAN IP address under the NETWORKA bridge directly.
Now, thats exactly what I did for CCR1009 and it had worked.
But the same doesnt work for CCR1016 and CCR1036.
