How much do VLANs effect the overall CPU usage of a router? Is there anyway to know if a certain processor can handle a certain number of VLANs if it does affect it enough to note?
Also does anyone know what process the VLAN falls under in the Tools\Profile?
It depends on how you implement the VLANs… if they are on the switch chip the overhead would be basically 0.
