I have two VLANs set on a bridge on a Mikrotik. On a switch connected to said bridge i have access ports assigning VLANs 10 and 20 and then trunking on a third port to the Mikrotik. I can pull DHCP, but i cannot ping either of the VLANs. This seems odd to me and I was hoping that you guys might be able to shed some light on the situation. The router configuration can be found at http://www.cticonnect.com/george/export.txt
If more information is needed please let me know.
FYI I removed the WAN IP address and route statements.
Why do you need bridge for all interfaces ?
I guess it’s enough to create VLAN on the interface, which is connected to the switch, then setup DHCP servers on VLAN interfaces.
Irregardless of where i put the VLANs i am having problems. I have tried placing them on ether2 and just not doing the bridge, but even when I do that i still cant get them to cooperate.
Well, I suggest you to reset the router and start configuration from the beginning.
I don’t think that there should be any problems from MikroTik side to support such kind of setup [if you have proper configuration].
