RB from ISP: 10.10.1.1 on ether01
RB Server1 with IP: 10.10.1.2 on Bridge1 (ether01 and ether02 in Bridge1)
RB Server1 on ether02 connected to RB Server2 on ether01 with IP: 10.10.1.3.
Server1 and Server2 have gateway RB from ISP with pptp connection.
In Server1 I have clients wifi network in range: 172.16.0.1/20.
In Server2 i have offices computers network in range: 192.168.1.1/24.
I have connected some routers in offices network so routers will pass 192.168.1.0/24 network.
Until here everything work great.
Now i want to pass a vlan network from Server1 to these routers, like in the image.
you want the AP in the bottom right corner to distribute two networks, 172.16.0.0/20 and 192.168.1.0/24, simultaneously, probably using two different SSIDs (as a single SSID for both is possible but you would have to use client MAC address to decide to which network that client would be connected)?
you want to bridge the 172.16.0.0/20 subnet through the “server2 gateway2”, using the existing cables, and you don’t care much whether VLAN or some other way would be used?
Depending on RB models used, a solution with a VLAN may or may not have an advantage as compared to L2 tunnelling.
BTW, if we are actually talking about more than one AP and they are Mikrotik ones, have you considered using CAPsMAN to control them?
