Hi
I have 2 CRS328-24P-4S+ + ccr1036
crs A the internet is conncted here
crs B another floow - there is a 2 port lacp connection between crs A & B
ccr1036 is connected to crs b
I have vlan 255 created on crs A - it has vlan defined up interfaces attached to my bridge (newbridge)
I have an eth port attached to newbridge and have pvid 255 so un tagged for it
i have the lacp attached to newbridge and 255 as tagged
on crs b
i have newbridge
i have the lacp attached with vlan 255 as tagged
i have a 2nd lacp to ccr1036 its attached to newbridge with vlan 255 as tagged
on ccr1036 i have interface vlan 255 off the bond interface
my question is if i don't have vlan 255 defined in crs B under the interface gui attached to the newbridge then packets for vlan7 don't make it from crs a to ccr (via crs b)
But if I create that interface on crs b it works - but I don't want to create an interface I want the vlan id to be used but i don't want the interface - so ipv6 automatically creates an address
do i just have to put with it ?
what i was thinking was to take my ISP modem - attach to crs A on vlan 255 -> trunk it to crs B and then trunk it to ccr, but in theory ... the internet has direct access to my crs A & crs B because of these interfaces
I'm hesitant to do that
