We’re currently connecting two buildings using a couple of MiktroTik devices running RouterOS (one at either building). I’ve inherited this setup but guessing that they are configured in bridge mode.
We’ve recently installed a guest WiFi system which we set up to use a specific VLAN tag. Effectively we now have two WiFi networks, one for internal use which is associated with all untagged traffic and one for guests which we have configured to work with tagged traffic using VLAN ID of 10.
We would like to put a WiFi AP at the other building, however, I’m guessing in order for the guest WiFi to work (VLAN tag of 10) that we would need to configure VLAN tagging to work over the existing bridge.
Is this something that’s possible with these devices and if so can anyone help point me in the right direction?
