Vlan tagged trunk ports

I’m putting together a mikrotik to do just pure ethernet routing. I’m putting together a border router in our network that needs to have a tagged trunk port. We’ve out grown a true L3 switch (Riverstone RS3000) and need to do some quick network changes. However everything coming into the riverstone is a tagged trunk port. So I need to find a card, hoping one of these realtek 8139 cards I have in my hand will do the trick. And then I need to figure out what it takes to turn an ethernet interface into a port that will accept 802.1q tags. If I create more than one vlan on a physical port (ether2 or whatever) will that make it a tagged port and pass/accept tagged traffic? My egress port into our core switch does not have to be tagged (ether1) at this time. Just looking for a few answers.
