You will need a managed switch. Only thing you could try doing is having everything as one VLAN when one is not specified then explicitly configuring other devices as a different VLAN on the switch. That just seems like a maintenance nightmare.
Depends, draw a diagram so that we can see.
Its not as secure as a manged switch but for the home scenario it may be possible.
Some unmanaged switches may not pass all packets…
