VLANs without Bridge in CRS125-24G

Hi, i have a very simple configuration, i just need only one trunk port. (24) and the other ports (1 - 23) are VLANs ports . Then in every port, i need run pppoe-clients, but this isn’t happening. I can watch the pppoe-discovery with torch in the server in the other side (tourch in vlan) but the pppoe-session never has success.

Seems like something is filtering the pppoe-session througth the vlan. Has had somebody the same trouble?

interface ethernet switch egress-vlan-tag should be used only for trunk ports and switch1-cpu should be included

switch1-cpu should also be included: in /interface ethernet switch vlan

I should add switch1-cpu in every port of “/interface ethernet switch egress-vlan-tag” and “/interface ethernet switch vlan”. In the wiki says the cpu is used if you need routing or wireless, but if i need only VLAN port, this would be necessary?

Hi Kamillo, i have followed your recommendation with “interface ethernet switch egress-vlan-tag should be used only for trunk” and this is working great now. The best part is than I hasn’t had to include switch1-chip.

happy to hear that. You are probably right regarding switch1-chip. I checked my config and it was there but I’m using routing between VLANs. Anyway it is working, great!
