Ive been trying to setup Traffic shaping for a VoIP system.
Here is my network
[DSL (BRIDGE)]
[Mikrotik RB450 set to bridge bridge eth2 (DSL) and eth3(PIX)]
[Cisco PIX]
[switch]
[vonage VTA]
I followed a few guides however i cant seem to make a mangle rule that does anything at all. Im starting to think you cannot use mangle to mark packets on a bridge.
not without adding IP firewall to your bridge. Get rid of the Pix, and just run your MT in routed mode 
Yeah that is what i thought. This is just to prove that we can get it working. Once its all working then maybe i can try and talk them into abandoning the pix.
I just thought i’d add that im pretty new to all of this. I have some experience with Cisco and MT and so far i really favor the mikrotik boxes over cisco.
