vpls tunnel over adsl link

Hi

Is it possible to setup a VPLS tunnel over an adsl link. I can setup eoip links but have been struggling for days without success to do the same with VPLS.

Or create a pptp/l2tp tunnel over the internet and enabled LDP over that interface

so a vpls tunnel over adsl is not possible then ?

Ill take your advice headstrong. Ive been researching for more than a week before I made this decision. :slight_smile: hope its a good one :slight_smile:

LDP needs to be enabled over each hop to distribute labels relating to your network…you have no control over your providers network so you cannot “enable” ldp over your providers network for your private lan.

The tunnel setup should work, let me know how well it performs
