VPN and Mikrotik problems

Hello,

I’m trying to set a VPN connection (PPTP) between two windows computers

without the mikrotik router in the picture it works fine.

as soon as i try it with the mikrotik router in the middle it gets as far as “verifying username and password” and fails (Windows error 721).

Do i need to configure the mikrotik router for PPTP Passthrough or port mapping?

anyone had similar issues?

You need to allow protocol 47 (GRE) and port 1723 tcp between the two machines. If using NAT you will need to use the IP services helper - enable pptp.
