VPN and NetBIOS broadcast

we used TMG2010 until now and we have switched to Mikrotik.
But now I have problem with VPN clients and machine name resolving/browsing using only machine names.

I have read that one solution is to use WINS but for now we don’t have WINS.

In TMG/RRAS you have simple switch [Enable broadcast name resolution].

I have saw similar ability on some low entry home routers.
I’m pretty new in Mikrotik world but I expected this to work or maybe I’m missing something.

Is it possible to achieve broadcast name resolution on mikrotik?

Does anyone have steps how to achieve that?

ROS does not support that, but this could be a good feature request. If possible together with a broadcast relay daemon.
But it probably will never happen until v7 is out and mature. At that point, NetBios could be already extinct.
