Hi everybody,
I setup a vpn client on Mikrotik router (both pptp and l2tp). It works well and I can check my ip address as vpn server ip address in whatismyipaddress.com. But I cannot open the ISPs filtered addresses by this vpn while it is running on the router. Same vpn running on one of my computers on the same LAN could do that easily. Does anybody know why this happens and what else should I do to overcome this issue?
I dont know how but adding a dstnat that nated the ISP’s DNS server to a smart DNS server could solve the problem.
