hi…i’m using PC OS version…and i have a static ip

i setup VPN connection …I setup on windows pc vpn client connection i can log in from my work to my pc with out a problem…

i like to know if is possible …and i need advice pls…


i have other pc in my summer house and has no static ip …system i’m using ubuntu desktop version in this pc…there’s a way to connect this pc to my mictortik??? true vpn…???

so if i login to my mickrotik vpn from my work windows pc…i can also login to my pc which is at my summer house pc wich is ubuntu desktop pc…so i can transfer files if i need from one of this pc’s …

i hope same one understand what i’m trying to say…

Why don’t you try using DDNS service like “www.changeip.com”

Just setup change ip script on Ubuntu desktop. and run VPN server on that PC.



or

if you just want access Mikrotik PC and UBUNTU desktop from your work place,
make setup VPN client at ubuntu PC then connect to Miktotik PC(and make auto reconnect when connection close) with same subnet which you made before.

I’m also newbee of Mikrotik. and not english people too.

If you can’t understand cleary, waiting for other good guys support.

if understand well mikrotik pc has to be act like a vpn server yes…


on other hand my ubuntu pc wich is on other network i create a vpn client to microtik yes…

so if the ubuntu desktop pc connects as a clients to microtik ex:10.10.10.220

so i can connect that ip using winscp i can transfer the files from one pc to other yes…???

is it i understand correct???
