I’m still a little new to Mikrotik Routerboards, so bear with me. I’m running a RB2011UiAS-RM with v6.32.3 and was able to successfully setup PPTP VPN to an IPVanish VPN server to where all of my traffic was going through that server. I wanted to setup OpenVPN, but PPTP was the only protocol that I could get to work. This was great, except that my web server, media server, RDP to my machines, and all other ports that I had setup for port forwarding no longer work. I suspected this when trying the VPN, but figured that I’d cross that bridge when I came to it… Well, I’m at that bridge. Is there a way for me to encrypt all of my traffic with VPN, but still be able to keep those ports open?
Also, when I was using PPTP, some websites wouldn’t load, like dnsleaktest.com and geoip.hidemyass.com. Any thoughts on this as well?
