I have two Mikrotik routers at different locations on different ISPs. I am trying to set up an L2TP/IPSEC VPN between them and have been unsuccessful. I followed the following link very closely but have not been able to make it work.

My client side just says “connecting” and I never get past that. Is there anything missing from this documentation or is there another way to have the two Mikrotik routers have a secure tunnel between them?
