Any help on the following scenario would be appreciated:
Remote Network:
Ether 1 - WAN
Ether 2 - LAN 10.10.10.0/24
Attached to Ether 2 is a device with an IP of 10.10.10.10.
The device was setup wrong with a subnet of 255.0.0.0 and GW of 10.1.1.1
I can’t get to my device because it has the wrong gateway. I need to try and fix it remotely.
I tried tried enabling a PPTP tunnel. Setting up a secret with a local address of 10.10.10.100 and a remote of 10.10.10.101. I can VPN to the network, where I can ping 10.10.10.1, but I still can get into the settings of my device at 10.10.10.10 to correct the problem.
From winbox I can ping 10.10.10.10, but I can’t ping 10.10.10.10 though the vpn connection.
Any way of correcting this withough physcially going out to the network?
Thanks,
Mike
