I try to set up a vpn client in a router which has 2 wans with load balancing and failover. How can i set up the vpn client to call the vpn server from a specific wan e.g WAN2?

If you are using static IPsec peer configurations, you could try setting the Local Address parameter.
You could also add a static route to your VPN server address (/32) via your gateway/interface for WAN2.
Can you post your current config export?
