If this is already answered somewhere else please direct me. I searched the forums for port forwarding through a vpn but could not find this issue resolved anywhere. I did question the great and powerful Google but unless my Googlefu has failed me, I was unable to find an answer.
I am trying to configure a mAp2nD as an L2TP Client with port forwarding to a Raspberry Pi. The VPN connection connects just fine and the MikroTik can ping across the VPN and out to the internet as it should. When I log into the Pi I can ping the router and access the internet but I can not ping across the VPN. Traceroute from the pi stops at the router. For some reason the MikroTik does not seem to be honoring the VPN route.
To be clear I am not trying to do a port forward to a vpn concentrator. I am trying to allow access across the VPN to a Pi behind the router. The Pi should be able to connect to resources at the other end of the VPN and access the internet.
I did not use quick set for any of this. I have printed out what I think to be pertinent but if you need more I can get it for you. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
