Hi. During all years of using Mikrotik since the hardware installation up to CHR now I face with one problem.
Sometimes one physical client after VPN connection to Mikrotik server with VPN get 2 or more registrations in PPP->interfaces
For example user1 can get 2 leases user1 and user1-1
All my users have login and password autorization with static IPs and use different ways: L2TP, PPTP, openVPN. But the problem take place for L2TP and openVPN especially,
My question is how to change something to avoid this problem?
Maybe are there any ways to restrict multiple registration of one client?
The problem take place especially when clients are in mobile and wireless networks.
