Dear Gentle Folk,
Historically we have found that VPN’s are highly sensitive to latency and packet drops which are more of a problem on wireless connections than wired connections.
As a wisp we have a number of higher end customers that want their vpn’s to work better although its a bitch trying to determine exactly is wrong with any particular line running remote desktops over vpns connected by wireless to local customer routers and over wireless links to our
NOC.
Is there an easy way to give vpn traffic priority using firewall rules or queues some other method, I am pretty familiar with these but not with using them to help vpn packets along.
Thanks in advance,
