I am posting here since ROS is no longer in beta.
RB5009UG+S+ and ROS 7.2rc1.
I am running a public VPN server providing PPTP, L2TP, SSTP and OpenVPN.
Ever since I upgraded from the stable 6.x on an x86 system to the RB5009UG+S+, VPN connections on the RB5009UG+S+ either stall and/or do not get cleared out of the interface list.
The x86 and 6.x version was running great. I needed to go to ROS 7.x to get OpenVPN over UDP.
Additionally the OpenVPN server hangs after several (seems like 12 or more) hours of running. New connections can not be made.
The only thing that fixes OpenVPN is a router restart then it start working.
So I don’t think it is my configuration as the restart works and that the same configuration worked great on 6.x.
This issue USED to exist way back in earlier 6.x versions but it went away for a while.
Anyone else experience this issue?
I do not really want to install a scheduled restart.
