I have set up a hotspot on a bridge on a RB493 AH. The Ethernet ports are added to the hotspot bridge and wireless AP’s served from those ports. Each AP has a static address from the same subnet as the hotspot uses. The AP addresses have been removed from the hotspot pool.
I have set up L2TP vpn on the router and can connect to the router from a PC over the Internet.
I cannot connect to the remote AP’s over the VPN but if I connect directly to one of the AP’s and login to the hotspot I can then connect to all of the AP’s.
I would like to be able to connect to the router over the VPN and be treated as a hotspot user so I can log on to the hotspot and access the AP’S.
Please could someone point me in the right direction?
