VPN Travel Router

Hi guys,

I’m after a small device that I can take away with me so when I travel to hotels I can plug it in to an ethernet port or provide details for the guest wifi, then a separate secure wifi connection is created which is directed through an always-on VPN. This means I’ll always have secure internet and can connect to my work VPN. Also, can the connection be make available only when the VPN is connected (i.e. if the VPN drops, the connection is disabled)?

Is this possible with a relatively cheap product? I’ll only have a few devices connected to the wifi at a time.

Thanks for any advice you can provide!

Thay all share same funcionality of ROS. IMHO the last one is the best choice: small, WiFi, second RJ45 …

Thanks for the reply .

Could I do what I’m after with one of these? I wasn’t sure if I could connect to a wifi, tunnel VPN and then broadcast another SSID all from one device? Is it possible to have the connection blocked if the VPN drops?

As I have written … all share same funcionality. It is just matter of device size.
If you want to drop WiFi if there is no VPN you need script checking if VPN is up/down and changeing WiFi according to VPN state.

I have already done the same thing with my RBmAP2ND
beside you can broadcast 128 different ssid which, each of them can be connected to different VPN and departments.
